1990-2005 Mazda Miata brake kit specifically designed to significantly reduce unsprung weight and improve braking, while still utilizing the light weight 90-93 or 94-02 OEM rotors. The Featherweight kit reduces unspring weight by a total of 7.68lbs by reducing caliper assembly weight by 52%.

Endurance Racing: The Featherweight kit was designed specifically for endurance racing applications for races under 18 hours with the goal of maximizing lap times and reliability. The kit is a no-point upgrade for ChampCar under the 2X rule and works best with Raybestos ST43 front and ST42 rear pads. Although possible to complete a 24 hour race on one set of pads upgrading to the 11″ kit is recommended for 24 hour races.
Sprint Racing: With more pistons, more consistent brake temps, and a lot less weight the light weight kit will reduce your lap times under braking, in the corners and on the straights. Whats more Wilwood calipers are easier to maintain, check and swap pads, and more reliable than the OEM calipers.
Track Days/Street Use: With dual use pads the featherweight kit is perfect for street & track applications. A prominent Wilwood branded caliper adds style while retaining rim compatibility within the same OEM profile. Reduced unsprung weight provides better handling and reduces shock load over bumps on the street.
